Şeniz Özbey graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations. Thanks to her teacher-painter mother she lived in a family setting where visual arts always occupied an important place. She had the opportunity to live in various parts of the world. She spent her childhood in Gölcük, İstanbul, İzmir and Ankara. She lived in Brussels, Riyadh, Geneva, Ottawa, New Delhi and Bombay.

She started growing a passion for capturing the moment during her photography conversations and outings with her father. She enjoyed capturing nature with her camera and continued to gain experience in darkroom and studio techniques while living in different counties around the world.

She won several awards from the competitions around the world and participated in various exhibitions and festivals. Her limited edition prints are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, India, Singapore, UK, Thailand, South Korea and Turkey.

Şeniz Özbey is currently working in her beloved studio in Istanbul. She is specialized in food, product and portrait photography.
